Participants and venue of the 2023 Rugby World Cup

The participants and venue of the 2023 Rugby World Cup are already becoming known. Starting October 9, 2021, 20 teams from different regions of the world have been confirmed to participate. As of now, four teams from Europe have already guaranteed their place: England, France, Ireland and Scotland. Argentina will represent South America and Uruguay will qualify.

From the ocean region, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji will go to the 2023 World Cup. The champions of South Africa and Japan will also take part. Samoa has qualified, but Italy will still be present thanks to their performance in the last World Cup.

The holders of permits already have impressive achievements behind them. Some of them are already on the list of world champions, such as South Africa (1995, 2007, 2019), Australia (1991, 1999) and New Zealand (1987, 2011, 2015).

The venue for the 2023 Rugby World Cup is France. This is the third time the country has welcomed World Cup participants. Previously, France was a finalist in 1987, 1999 and 2011.

All teams are already gearing up for this iconic rugby event, and fans are looking forward to exciting matches and an unforgettable atmosphere in the stadiums of France.
